Close Account:
If you wish to close an account please call 775-8762 and give us the date you wish to terminate your account. We will read the meter and calculate a final bill. If all of the service on the line or portion of line are disconnected, the line will be subject to and scheduled for removal. The member or property owner will be contacted and if a request is made to leave the line in place and energized for future use, the owner or member must reconnect and be responsible for the current minimum base charge plus any energy used.
Membership and deposit fees are refundable. They will either be applied to your last bill or remitted by check. It will be necessary that you keep us informed of your new address in the event Capital Credit distributions are approved for payment. Generally, SECO pays Capital Credits in May of each year.
If the meter will not be removed, we will need the name and address of the party who will be responsible for the service.
Name Change / Correction:
If you wish to correct the manner in which an account is being held, please call and we will prepare and mail the appropriate document for signatures. This is referring to changing a joint account to an individual or visa-versa. Please let us know if there will also be an address and/or telephone change as well.
Transfers:
Member will need to call or stop by our office to to provide us with information pertaining to the account that is being transferred. The final bill will be calculated. Membership and/or deposit fees are refundable. Fees will either be applied to your last bill or remitted by check. It will be necessary that you keep us informed of your current addresses in the event Capital Credits distributions are approved for payment in the future.
