Rates

Because we are owned and operated by our members, SECO diligently provides electrical energy at affordable rates. Rates are reviewed annually. 

AS OF JANUARY 1, 2025

Residential Base Rate

• Residential/Stock Wells - $32.00 per month
• Small Commercial - $42.00 per month

KWH:

• $.094 (per kilowatt-hour)
• $.063 (per kilowatt-hour for heat meters Oct 1st – Apr 30th)

Forfeited Discount:

• SECO bills members a 10% discount.  If payment is not received by the 20th of the month, the 10% discount is forfeited.  

Security Lights (Rental):

SECO has yard lights available for purchase or rent. Purchased lights are wired thru the meter.  All kWh and maintenance are paid by the member. Rental lights are wired before the meter.  All kWh and maintenance are paid by the cooperative.
